Webster's New World College Dictionary is the preferred dictionary of the AP Stylebook. In many cases where the AP Stylebook does not include an entry on a word or phrase, it's because it's already in Webster's New World and the Stylebook's editors agree with that guidance.

If your Stylebook Online account does not currently include access to Webster's New World College Dictionary, you can add it to your subscription by going to the My Products (https://www.apstylebook.com/licenses) page of the Account Dashboard and click the "Upgrade Now" button listed with your AP Stylebook Online license.

Adding Webster's does not add additional time to your subscription, it just adds access to Webster's New World College Dictionary to your subscription for everyone with access to your license.
